Through my NTT training, I have found skills and knowledge that I never thought possible. Even overlooking the technical skills I have gained in operating advanced equipment, I have also gained a strong work ethic along the way and learnt how to deal with difficult and complex situations in which involved decision making is necessary. The online learning system is a dream for my busy lifestyle, as I have accessed my theory work easily and completed it in my own time so I don’t feel rushed and disorganised. The comprehensive workshops have also assisted indefinitely with expanding my knowledge of the industry as it helps to give a face to face education on the more technical aspect of operations and sums up anything that is not understood in the online system.

Through these different educational tools, I have experienced many helpful work placement programs that were a lot of fun and I really enjoyed myself. There is nothing quite like the feeling of excitement as you watch a truly epic production unfold knowing that you have helped pull it together. National Technical Training has definitely helped me decide on a career as well as acquire the skills that I need to start.

National Tech Training offers a flexible and positive course in Live Production which not only provides industry level outcomes, but allows participants to progress at their own pace. The online training is ideal as it permits one to fit the study into the hectic pace of life! The workshops offered great networking and support. I did not expect to develop the level of knowledge and skills the course entails and I feel most confident about entering the workplace in a variety of technical roles. The training was very much up to date and the latest equipment and technology was readily available – in a very hands on manner. As a director and performer I have gained a wealth of knowledge and skills in all aspects of sound, light, vision and stage work.
