How It Works

National Technical Training offers partnership agreements to Registered Training Organisations that utilise the resources of both organisations (human, physical, intellectual) to deliver quality training to your students/business.

What is a partnership agreement?
"In the vocational education training sector a partnership is an arrangement between an RTO and another organisation such as a school, enterprise, industry body, non-registered training organisation or professional association for the provision and/or sharing of training and/or assessment services. This allows an organisation that is not registered to have the outcomes of their training recognised through partnering with an RTO. It also allows RTOs to outsource training and/or assessment to another organisation."
(Department of Education & Training, http://www.trainandemploy.qld.gov.au/resources/registration_audit/pdf/partnership_checklist.pdf)

Using the partnership agreement framework we partner with your organisation to deliver the training together:

NTT is the secondary/partner RTO and therefore assists your delivery through a team approach, however you responsible for issuing certificates and qualifications. In the most basic form, we supply content and delivery strategies and you deliver, assess and manage students. For an example breakdown of the delineation of responsibility please see the following documents:

Please note: The delineation between NTT and your organisation is individually assessed on your needs and requirements.

I still don't understand...

Imagine you wanted to sell icecream but were not sure where to begin. You don't have all of the resources to develop and make your own icecream flavours but you have customers ready to buy. Why reinvent the wheel? You don't need to make the icecream to sell it, all you need is the van.

NTT is like a franchise; you purchase our product and deliver it to your own customers. You needn't worry about developing new flavours or new product lines, we do that for you. You just concentrate on your business and delivering good quality services to your customers.

How should I deliver the course?

Integrating a NTT Live Production, Theatre and Events course into your organisation is designed to be as easy and as minimally disruptive to your current curriculum or training as possible.

Schools
Our resources can be delivered as a subject line into your school’s timetable or as an after school program run like a musical rehearsal, sport or club. Running the course as a subject line gives students a dedicated class time in which to undertake theory and practical activities and can be taken with minimal disturbance to their school routine. Additional production work would then be undertaken during lessons or after school.

Alternatively, Live Production courses can be delivered as after school programs at times appropriate to both trainers and students which do not impact on other studies or school activities. This enables students to focus solely on one subject and school halls/other facilities are more likely vacant during these times. The two delivery methods can also be combined to allow full immersion in Live Production studies.

Additionally, Live Production students undertaking practical experience serve as a “tech crew” to help run various school productions, assemblies, concerts and events. Students gain much needed experience and your school can save money and time on hiring professionals.

These lessons, no matter how they are delivered, can be supplemented with weekend or holiday workshops to cover specific areas of study and gain practical and production experience. NTT can help in the planning and delivery of these workshops, or you can run them yourself. The delivery methods are extremely flexible and totally up to you!

Registered Training Organisations
Using our resources for your RTO will make delivery of Live Production courses easier, cheaper and more flexible; allowing you to focus on the exciting, practical side of training and the day to day running of your business.

The flexibility of the course means that you decide how it is delivered and how you want it to be run. Our delivery resources provide detailed lesson plans, as well as suggestions for practical work, demonstrations and class activities. In addition, comprehensive assessment options are included to ensure that your students finish each unit both competently and with confidence. All the information you need is included, meaning that you wont have to spend time researching and arranging materials for your lessons.

Using NTT’s resources just make sense and will prove to be a valuable investment to any organisation.
