Delivery resources
Each unit contains a number of practical activities and handouts to help engage students in the coursework, as well in depth theory content to give them a board knowledge base in the technical entertainment industry. Assessment tasks are thorough and undertaken both offline and online using the OLE.
The Online Learning Environment (OLE) provides students with the flexibility of learning at their own pace and in their own time. It offers workbook style activities and testing for units covered in the Certificate II, III and IV Live Production Theatre and Events (Technical Operations) programme. The freedom the OLE offers is particularly useful for organisations and schools who may have students with other work, study or production commitments, as much of the theoretical course work can be completed in their own time.
The OLE provides testing of skills and knowledge specific to industry practice through research activities, multiple choice, short answer and more, as well as providing self-assessment competency checklists to indicate an individual’s ability to achieve practical tasks within the workplace. Trainers are able to monitor individual student progress through units, fulfilling a requirement of the auditing process.
Unit programs included in our delivery resources provide extensive information on teaching and assessment strategies, links to the training package and lesson-by-lesson plans detailing how to deliver the training to students. They also include resources requirements, links to the OLE, textbook information and Keynote/PowerPoint presentations. Our delivery resources not only provide assistance in the delivery of your training programme but also fulfill essential audit requirements through tracking processes and consistency in delivery.

Case Studies
- All Saints Anglican School
Issue:
All Saints Anglican School has been delivering Certificate II and III Live Production, Theatre and Events courses successfully for several years, however with an increase in student numbers and events within the school teachers and trainers found they were unable to keep up with training and paperwork commitments.
Solution:
National Technical Training products were adopted to standardise delivery of materials between trainers as well as provide a user-friendly solution to classroom delivery. The Online Learning Environment was easily implemented into the school by using existing computer labs with Internet access, and students were able to complete activities or move ahead in their studies from home. National Technical Training also provides workshop services for units that school trainers either don't have the time, or necessary qualifications, to deliver.
Through a joint partnership agreement, NTT and ASAS work hand in hand to provide a high standard of training that is reflective of industry requirements and meets the satisfaction of is students, apprentice employers and registration requirements. All Saints Anglican School delivers the bulk of the practical training for students while National Technical Training assess the underlying theoretical knowledge to support student learning. During the yearly audit process, whether this be internal or external, NTT provides support for the school through discussions and suggestions on programme development, staff training and placements for industry currency requirements, continuous improvement outcome strategies and resource updates. These solutions have allowed the school to increase training numbers while cutting paperwork and administration time dramatically. The partnership has been hugely successful for both organisations.
